FAQs

Why can’t I access my group calls from my kajabi app?

Our group calls are done through zoom and zoom is not yet compatible or available to access via the kajabi app. You can access the calls via the zoom app or within your Love Doc account through a web browser.

Why didn’t I get a confirmation email?

Sometimes our automated emails will go to your spam account so before you reach out, please check there.

How long do I have access to the course?

For life.

Can I make-up a group call if I miss one?

All group sessions are recorded and uploaded to the session within 24 hours and will be accessible in your Hybrid Group Program product via your Love Doc account. If the reason you missed the call was due to sickness, medical or bereavement reasons, and you prefer to attend live, we can place you in another upcoming group. This exception is only made on a case-by-case basis.

Why are Dr. Hensley’s one on ones so exclusive?

Dr. Hensley’s goal is to reach and teach as many people as possible to love in a healthy and secure way. One on one coaching requires a lot of her time, and she is in high demand. Therefore, she must make her one-on-one coaching more exclusive so that she has more time to coach her groups. Her hybrid group coaching program is the fast tract to healing and a wonderful and more cost-effective option.

Does The Love Doc take insurance?

At this time because we are a coaching based business, we cannot take insurance. Some Health Saving Accounts will reimburse for our services and we offer generous payment plans through Affirm.

Where can I find an online test to figure out my attachment style?

Online quizzes are not credible and offer no validity around proper attachment style assessment. In The Love Doc practice Dr. Hensley and Coach Elizabeth use a modified version of the Adult Attachment Interview to determine their client’s attachment style. This assessment measures individual nuances that allows for their assessment to be more accurate.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching:

Therapy is often open-ended with the therapist guiding the individual though self-reflection, in an attempt for the individual to gain more knowledge and understanding around past wounds and experiences. Coaching is more prescriptive with the coach setting specific goals, strategies, and feedback around changing certain behaviors that have resulted from past wounds and experiences. Coaching sessions are more forward-focused helping individuals implement new behaviors rather than processing their past.

When can I expect change from myself or my partner around the toxic behaviors that come from our insecure attachments?

The timeline for change depends on several factors, including your level of self-awareness, your commitment to change, and the depth of your attachment wounds. Healing is never a straight path, and setbacks are a part of the process. The key is consistent effort and self-compassion as you work toward secure attachment.
